How to modify the home page

Home page is controlled by "txt_welcome" variable in Languages menu (there is wysiwg editor there)

and customer/ -> main/ -> welcome.tpl template (you will need to use html code there).

You may have to clear template cache after making changes to the home page to see the changes. You can do it in Summary -> Tools
